Garmin nüvi 350 3.5-Inch Portable GPS Navigator with Text-to-Speech
I first owned a Street Pilot 350 which is the large unit....it was ok, but took routes that I knew to be circuitous and unnecessary sometimes...it also didn't have updated maps for my area... Now I have the Nuvi 350 which has good mapping, better routing, screen brightness, and is much smaller....The only thing that I really don't like is the volume of the voice directions. Even at the loudest volume, it can't be heard very well, and forget about having music on when your trying to listen to it! I was told by Garmin that the street pilot 350 because of the size; the speakers were on the side and now the nuvi 350 speaker(s) are on the back...maybe that has something to do with it...but still, I don't see how this unit is ok with most people because of the volume thing....
